The third test is a bimanual examination, which consists of two items. On the one hand, there is a vaginal examination. During the inspection, you need to wear sterile gloves, dip the index and middle fingers in a small amount of sterile soapy water and put them into the female vagina to touch the elasticity and smoothness of the vagina, whether there is a dull pain, and the mass and roundness of the posterior vaginal fornix. On the other hand, to check the uterus and appendages, you need to use your fingers to guide the cervix upward and backward through the vagina to move the uterus forward. At the same time, place the four fingers of one hand in the pelvis above the ischial tuberosity and press lightly, clamp the uterus between the hands, and move back and forth to check the size and shape of the uterus.

The fourth test is the triple examination, which involves inserting a finger into the vagina. Insert the middle thumb into the duodenum and place the other hand on the lower abdomen to cooperate in palpation. In this way, you can check the size of the uterus, the condition of the posterior uterine wall, the cardinal cruciate ligament, the uterosacral cruciate ligament, the uteroduodenal fossa, the intravaginal duodenal septum, the inner and outer walls of the pelvis and the duodenum, and pay attention to whether there is thickening, tenderness or tumors.

Although the entire inspection process is not dangerous, everyone also needs to pay attention to the best time for inspection. Generally speaking, the best time for a gynecological examination is between three and seven days after the menstrual period ends. At this time, the old uterine wall falls off relatively cleanly, and the new uterine wall has just grown and is of moderate thickness.
