What ointment can pregnant women use for burns

In our daily lives, we encounter high-temperature objects that can easily cause burns and blisters. Many housewives are easily scalded by hot steam when cooking. Once a burn or blister forms, the patient's skin will immediately become more and more red and swollen. If the burn is severe, many small blisters will appear on the patient's skin injuries. These small blisters can turn into many ulcers if left untreated. Therefore, we must deal with burns properly.

Once scalded by something hot, we should immediately soak the blistered and intact wound in cold water for a while, which can effectively reduce the swelling caused by the burn. If the burn is serious, the patient needs to apply some burn ointment. If the patient with burns and blisters is a pregnant woman, what kind of burn ointment should be used? Pregnant women have many taboos on taking medicine, and many burn ointments may contain ingredients that are contraindicated during pregnancy. Pregnant women need to be very cautious when taking medication.

In medicine, burns are divided into three degrees. For first-degree burns, it is okay for pregnant women not to apply burn ointment. If it is a second-degree burn, the patient needs to apply moist burn ointment to the injured area. The moist burn ointment is a dark yellow-brown cream made from Chinese medicinal herbs such as Scutellaria baicalensis, Phellodendron amurense, Bupleurum chinense, Pheretima affine, and Poppy shell. It is very effective for second-degree burns.

If the pregnant woman's burns are third-degree burns, the patient will not be able to deal with it easily. This level of burns cannot be treated with burn ointment. If you apply the burn ointment carelessly, it may make the wound ulcerate further. We should follow the doctor's advice to choose the burn treatment method that suits us. Some more serious burns may require surgical treatment.

If a pregnant woman unfortunately suffers a scalding accident, she must go to the hospital for treatment and then take medication safely under the guidance of a doctor. Many pregnant women heard that Jing Wanhong is a very good burn ointment and began to use it blindly. In fact, although Jing Wanhong is very effective in treating burns, it has always been used with caution. Therefore, pregnant women must not take medication too lightly.
