What is the cause of uterine bleeding?

What is the cause of uterine bleeding?

There are also many gynecological diseases occurring during women's puberty and menopause. If women care more about reproductive health, they will take some measures to prevent gynecological diseases. However, there are still many women who do not have enough knowledge in these areas, which causes them to be affected by these gynecological diseases. Abnormal uterine bleeding is a very common gynecological disease. What causes abnormal uterine bleeding?

1. Endocrine disorders

The vast majority of women who experience abnormal uterine bleeding do so due to endocrine disorders in the human body. The hormones that affect intrauterine blood are produced by the hypothalamus-pituitary gland and the pituitary gland. Under normal circumstances, the hormones secreted by the hypothalamus-pituitary gland and the pituitary gland are at normal levels. If there is a problem at any stage, uterine bleeding may occur. And women's unhealthy lifestyles can also cause endocrine disorders, such as taking emergency contraceptives, androgen menstrual regulating drugs, ovulation-inducing drugs, etc.

2. Good tumor

Some healthy tumors can also cause abnormal uterine bleeding in women, especially uterine intrauterine polyps and uterine fibroids that appear as hard lumps in the uterus.

3. Uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids can cause diffuse pelvic congestion. When the area of the endometrium increases, it can also cause menorrhagia and excessive bleeding. The surface of the uterine fibroids under the mucosa can become infected, ulcerated, and have local hematomas. This all produces abnormal uterine bleeding.

4. Others

If a woman has experienced vaginal injury, vaginitis, sepsis, low platelets, uterine infection and other conditions, vaginal bleeding may also occur.

What are the clinical manifestations of abnormal uterine bleeding?

1. Imbalance of action

When women are overworked, nervous, anxious or affected by other factors, uterine bleeding will occur. This kind of bleeding is not caused by ovulation, but by increased estrogen levels. Women mainly experience prolonged menstruation and increased menstrual flow. Excessive bleeding will also cause anemia.

2. Vaginal bleeding in newborn babies

Some newborn girls may have a small amount of vaginal bleeding in the first few days after birth. Generally, this situation can stop on its own and the doctor does not need to deal with it.

3. Mid-term bleeding

Women of childbearing age will bleed around day 12-16 of their menstrual cycle, and their estrogen levels will temporarily drop.

4. Abnormal uterine bleeding after menopause

Everything is normal in the initial stage of abnormal uterine bleeding, but in the later stage, the bleeding decreases but the duration is prolonged. This is mainly because the uterine wall cannot be completely exfoliated, the patient's progesterone degeneration is slow, and estrogen cannot be continuously secreted.
