There is something like skin during menstruation

As female friends, everyone must have been troubled by irregular menstruation to some extent. Some women will find that the discharge during menstruation is very strange. Sometimes, some skin-like substances are discharged along with menstruation. So what are the skin-like substances during menstruation?

The menstrual period contains skin-like substances, which are the fallen fragments of the uterine wall. The menstrual period is because after ovulation, the secretion of female hormones gradually decreases, and the uterine wall loses the support of female hormones and gradually breaks away, causing wounds in the endometrium and causing capillary rupture and bleeding. The fallen fragments of the uterine wall will mix with the blood and be discharged from the body through the vagina along with the blood. For some women, the amount of menstruation gradually decreases in the later stages of menstruation, and the fallen uterine wall fragments will appear white and look like skin. These are all normal physiological phenomena and do not require special treatment as long as there are no symptoms such as abdominal pain. Some women are prone to excessive menstrual flow due to factors such as cold or overwork during menstruation. The fragments of the uterine wall mixed in the blood will appear as dark red blood clots, and lower abdominal pain is likely to occur. You need to apply hot compress to the lower abdomen and drink some brown sugar ginger water or old brown sugar motherwort granules water to relieve the symptoms.
