Is it normal to have menstruation every month?

Female friends all know that women's menstrual cycle is generally 28-32 days, in other words, menstruation comes once a month. There are also a small number of more special women whose menstruation comes four times a year and once every three months. This is what we often call menstruation, and this is also the normal menarche. But is it normal for some women to have their periods every other month?

Is it normal to have a period one month apart?

If this happens only once in a while, it's normal. Because there are many factors that affect women's menstruation, such as high work pressure, anxiety, and depression. If this happens often, then you need to do an ultrasound to rule out polycystic ovary syndrome.

The normal menstrual cycle of women is between 21 days and 35 days. If a woman's menstrual cycle only occurs once a month, it indicates that her menstrual cycle is irregular and there may be an abnormality in her ovulation period. For example, the most common polycystic ovary syndrome has a relatively long menstrual cycle, generally exceeding 35 days, and abnormalities in the ovulation period may lead to infertility. In addition, some women may have endocrine disorders, which cause abnormal thickening of the uterine wall, such as high estrogen levels. It is most common in women in menopause, causing the uterine wall to proliferate abnormally under the continuous stimulation of estrogen and unable to shed, resulting in long menstrual cycles and only one menstrual period every month. This condition may lead to disease of the uterine wall. Therefore, once it occurs, six hormone measurements and pelvic ultrasound should be performed to find out the cause of this condition and carry out symptomatic treatment.

If it is like this every time from the beginning of menstruation (first menstruation), then it is normal. Some people's menstruation comes once a quarter.
