Its main manifestations are generally irregular menstrual cycle, excessive menstrual volume, prolonged menstruation or non-menstrual bleeding.

3. If bleeding occurs after a delay of 7-10 days, you do not have to think that this is definitely late menstruation. You should pay attention to whether the amount, color, and duration of bleeding are the same as those of the normal menstrual period. If your menstrual period is irregular, continuous, and accompanied by abdominal pain, you need to pay attention to the possibility of ectopic pregnancy or threatened abortion. If the bleeding is heavier than usual, lasts longer, and has significant menstrual pain, it is often caused by uterine fibroids or endometriosis.

4. Vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse is called contact bleeding, which is often related to gynecological diseases such as vaginitis, cervical erosion, cervical polyps, early cervical cancer, and cervical fibroids. Going to a gynecologist as soon as possible is the only option.

5. Some women may experience vaginal bleeding during unprotected intercourse due to taking birth control pills. The impact of birth control pills on menstruation is specifically manifested in changes in the physiological cycle, which may advance or delay the time. Especially repeated use can cause menstrual disorders, bleeding, and continuous spotting. Therefore, it can only be used as a preventive measure and cannot replace any normal contraceptive methods.
