What does FSH high mean?

What does FSH high mean?

Ovulation occurs every month. Especially for women who are preparing to get pregnant, they often have sex after ovulation to increase the chances of pregnancy. When testing eggs, the function of eggs can be checked by using FSH among the six sex hormones. So what does a higher FSH in the follicular phase mean?

A higher FSH level in the follicular phase indicates premature ovarian failure, firstly when the age is less than 40 years old, the FSH/LH ratio is more than 2, and the estrogen level is more than 40 years old. Premature ovarian failure is associated with early marriage, multiple births and miscarriage. Irregular menstruation is associated with a rise in FSH. It is recommended that you have six estrogens the day after taking copper lutein. It is recommended to seek treatment with both Chinese and Western medicine. The standard value of FSH in the blood during the follicular phase is 5.2-14.4 mU/ml, and the standard value of LH is 1.8-7.4 mU/ml. FSH and LH values that are too high or too low indicate problems with the midbrain-pituitary gland function. Both high levels indicate ovarian obstruction. When LH values are low and FSH values are normal, polycystic ovary is highly suspected. How to diagnose endocrine imbalance infertility? 1. Measurement of LH and FSH values: The standard value of FSH in the blood during the follicular phase is 5.2-14.4 mU/ml, and the standard value of LH is 1.8-7.4 mU/ml. FSH and LH values that are too high or too low indicate problems with the midbrain-pituitary gland function. Both high levels indicate ovarian obstruction. When LH values are low and FSH values are normal, polycystic ovary is highly suspected. The standard value of prolactin (PRL) in the follicular phase of blood is below 25ug/m1. If it exceeds this limit, hyperprolactinuria can be diagnosed.

During the physiological cycle, the FSH concentration in the blood and the amount of FSH metabolized in the urine each day change with the duration of the cycle. During the first 0-3 days of the menstrual cycle, the egg is in the initial stage of development. The granulosa cells in the egg have not yet begun to secrete a large amount of estrogen, and the feedback between the pituitary gland and the uterus and ovaries is in the initial stage. The FSH concentration measured at this stage becomes the basic FSH level. The basic follicle-stimulating hormone level directly reflects the metabolic function of the uterus and ovaries, and is an important indicator for evaluating the ovaries in clinical medicine.

High levels of basic follicle-stimulating hormone reflect poor uterine and ovarian metabolism. Basic FSH is significantly lower than the lower limit of the normal standard value for a long time, which generally indicates a problem with pituitary function. If the normal FSH level is higher than the normal value for a long time, ovarian failure is the most common cause in clinical medicine. If FSH is above the limit and lasts for more than 3 cycles, and if LH is also high and estrogen levels are slightly low, it is a manifestation of the decline of uterine and ovarian reserve function to a late stage and can be diagnosed as ovarian failure. If the decline occurs before the age of 40, it is called ovarian aging (premature ovarian failure, POF). If the thyroid hormone is not high, it will definitely cause the FSH to be high for a long time and suppress the ovaries.
