Is colposcopy uncomfortable?

Colposcopy is a diagnostic instrument for gynecological diseases and is one of the gynecological electronic endoscopes. It is applicable to the diagnosis of various cervical diseases and genital organ diseases, and is also an important method for early diagnosis of diseases in men and women. So is it uncomfortable to have a colposcopy?

The patient undergoes a colposcopy. If the doctor finds any abnormalities, a puncture biopsy is required, which is to remove a piece of tissue. Generally, doctors will perform colposcopy screening after making sure that the patient's vagina is not infected, has not had intercourse, or has applied medication. Colposcopy is the same as a regular gynecological examination and will not cause pain to the patient. The doctor will only use a mirror to carefully observe the condition of the cervix and then perform a puncture biopsy based on the patient's condition. Generally, a puncture biopsy only takes a piece of tissue the size of a millet grain, which is safe and painless.

Advantages of colposcopy

1. Lightweight and small in size, but still with extraordinary flexion and extension range

WH-SMA will never interfere with your normal work. It has a very long and extremely light lower arm structure. You get the best of both worlds – perfect surgical positioning and optimally controlled space management. You can easily position this optical microscope to the surgical area you need. Its pinpoint positioning is effortless, convenient and precise. Despite its long lower arm, the WH-SMA still takes up little space in your office.

2. Accurate positioning, easy and comfortable

The WH-SMA optical integrated colposcopy system has a greatly expanded range of motion in all aspects, improving the operability of surgical operations. All joints are horizontally rotated using vibration-damping bearing technology, the hydraulic height-lifting screen arm allows users of different heights to easily adjust, and the unique free-arm technology allows the microscope to be accurately and steadily raised and lowered at will, keeping any point in the space fixed and balanced, without inertia rebound, and with large spatial flexion and extension capabilities.

3. Emotional design, practical operation safety

The parallel light control system design avoids eye fatigue and discomfort caused by the V-line laser light path. It also enables optical electronic systems to be assembled like Lego blocks to expand many functions.

Unique built-in image output module, fully intelligent control, and fully automatic white balance system. Maximizing the benefits of inspection space not only saves space and facilitates operation, but also minimizes the possibility of cross-contamination.
