2. Urinary tract inflammation: With the advancement of menopause, the level of female hormones in women's bodies gradually decreases, the endometrium gradually shrinks, and the vaginal mucosa also shrinks. The shrinkage of the endometrium and vaginal mucosa will lead to a decrease in some resistance and will be corroded by pathogenic bacteria such as chlamydia, resulting in endometritis, cervicitis and vaginitis. On the basis of inflammation, superficial capillaries are easily damaged, and in rare cases, superficial ulcers may occur, leading to bleeding. About 1/3 of abnormal uterine bleeding after menopause is related to urinary tract inflammation. Therefore, on the one hand, it is necessary to improve the urinary tract health care of postmenopausal women, and on the other hand, a small amount of estrogen supplementation can be given to prevent the occurrence and development of urinary tract inflammation. In addition, when examining patients with abnormal uterine bleeding after menopause, attention should be paid to whether there is urinary tract inflammation. Once confirmed, it should be actively treated to reduce bleeding.

3. Malignant tumors: In the past, it was believed that the prevalence of malignant tumors in postmenopausal uterine bleeding was very high, so it was believed that postmenopausal uterine bleeding was a network signal of malignant symptoms. However, in recent years, it has been found that malignant tumors are only a small part of patients with postmenopausal bleeding. The highest incidence reported in my country is about 22.7%, and the lowest incidence is only 8.8%. Among the malignant tumors that can cause postmenopausal uterine bleeding, endometrial cancer is more common, followed by cervical cancer, and ovarian malignant tumors are relatively rare. Although the proportion of malignant tumors in postmenopausal uterine bleeding patients is not very high, we still need to be vigilant. For patients with postmenopausal uterine bleeding with unclear causes, repeated examinations and strict follow-up are necessary, which is conducive to early diagnosis and treatment, and improves the quality of life of middle-aged women.

4. Other reasons for abnormal uterine bleeding after menopause: including female vaginal flesh, urinary system trauma, uterine prolapse and ovarian tumors, endometrial glandular cysts and ruptures, etc., can all become one of the causes of abnormal uterine bleeding after menopause. For such cases, we need to have a certain grasp, carefully check, diagnose and actively treat immediately to reduce the incidence of abnormal uterine bleeding after menopause.
