What tests should be done to confirm pregnancy

Many people know that in the early stages of pregnancy, the signs and symptoms of pregnancy are not obvious, so that the current state of pregnancy will be ignored in many cases. Therefore, in terms of checking whether you are pregnant, the examination in the hospital will be more authoritative. Then, some people will ask, what kind of examinations are needed to determine whether you are pregnant?

1. What tests are needed to determine whether you are pregnant?

It is clear that you need to do an ultrasound during pregnancy. Because B-ultrasound has an impact on the fetus, it should not be done frequently. During pregnancy, it is best to do less B-ultrasound. Except when necessary, B-ultrasound is generally not performed more than once during pregnancy. If there are any abnormalities during pregnancy, such as a malformed fetus, a baby that is too large or too small, too much or too little amniotic fluid, an abnormal embryo, or the pregnancy is overdue, an ultrasound can be done. There are probably several items that need to be checked:

1. Test paper check: If your period is delayed for more than 10 days, you can use an early pregnancy test paper to determine whether you are pregnant. However, early pregnancy test strips can only be used as a preliminary screening test, which may result in positive or false negative results, causing women to make incorrect judgments.

2. Urine test: After a woman becomes pregnant, HCG growth hormone will be produced in her urine. Urine test can be used to detect the presence of HCG to determine whether the woman is pregnant. Generally, the HCG content in morning urine is relatively high, so the best way to test this is to take morning urine.

3. Blood HCG test: The pregnancy can be confirmed by testing the HCG component in the blood. The blood HCG test can detect the early stages of pregnancy, usually within 7 days of pregnancy.

2. What foods to eat during early pregnancy

In the early stages of pregnancy, most pregnant women experience obvious pregnancy reactions such as vomiting, nausea, dizziness, and decreased appetite. Many pregnant women worry that not eating will affect the development of the baby, and then force themselves to eat. In fact, this is unnecessary. The fetus will live in the mother's womb for about 280 days. During this period, pregnant women are not only responsible for the enlargement of their uterus and breasts, increased blood flow and other pregnancy supplies, but also for ensuring all the nutrients needed for the growth and development of the fetus. If pregnant women do not pay attention to nutrition or are picky about food during pregnancy, it will lead to congenital developmental deficiencies in the fetus, delayed or abnormal language development of the fetus, or even premature birth.
