What should I do if a large pimple like acne grows on my vulva?

If a woman finds that her vulva has something like acne on her face, she needs to go to the hospital's gynecology department to see a doctor to find out what causes the acne on her face. At present, the most common causes of acne on the private parts of the face are folliculitis or Bartholin's gland cysts. If the pimples on the face are on the sides of a woman's labia majora or labia minora, and there is obvious swelling and pain, and there are lumps or bumps when touched, it is caused by folliculitis.

Use mercurochrome to disinfect the acne area on the face, and then apply erythromycin ointment for treatment. In severe cases, oral antibiotics can be taken for systemic anti-infection treatment. If it grows just below the labia majora, there is no obvious pain, and it feels cystic when touched, it is considered to be caused by Bartholin's gland cyst. If it feels obviously lumpy and painful when touched, it is considered to be caused by Bartholin's gland cyst, and Bartholin's gland stoma surgery is generally required.

1. Keep your vagina clean. This is very important for both prevention and treatment. Young girls and children can use low concentration potassium permanganate water to clean their private parts. Wash your vulva frequently and change your underwear frequently.

2. Expose the vulva to ventilation at night, for example, you can sleep naked.

3. Use 150ml of white vinegar (do not use vinegar essence) to clean the wound once every night. There will usually be pain in the first few days, which will then subside on its own.

4. For those with dampness, coldness and edema[1], you can sprinkle Shengjisan granules on the wound; for those with dryness, you can rub the wound with Shengjisan mixed with sesame oil.

5. You can use pickled radish, watercress, radish, and loofah. Burn them into charcoal and grind them into fine powder. Mix it with sesame oil and apply it to the wound.

Avoid eating some irritating foods, such as onions, ginger, garlic, strong tea, coffee, alcohol and other foods that may cause eczema, such as fish, shrimp and other seafood. Generally, patients with eczema should eat mainly vegetarian meals, which are easy to digest and absorb, do not hinder the stomach and intestines, and have smooth bowel movements day and night. They should avoid spicy food, fishy seafood, milk, eggs and other foods. Some common health-preserving medicinal foods that can strengthen the spleen and remove dampness, such as winter melon and lotus seed soup, mung bean and red bean soup, have a good preventive effect on eczema. River products such as lotus seeds, lotus roots, lotus leaves, and lingjiao are also good for the skin.
