What causes pimples around the areola?

The nipple refers to the darker area around the nipple. The color of the nipple varies with age, and it is easy to show rosy red during puberty. When a woman is pregnant and breastfeeding, the color of the areola will gradually darken. In addition to the change in the color of the areola, there will also be some small bumps on the nipples.

What causes small bumps on nipples?

Generally speaking, small bumps on the nipples are a normal condition, but sometimes they are also a common symptom of a gynecological disease.

Neurofibroma

In this case, the whole body fibromatosis, part of which is from the nipple nipple area, develops a group of soft or light brown pigmented hanging hammer head lumps, without any discomfort. Scattered, similar lumps and pigmentation spots often appear on the epidermis. Generally, surgical removal is not required. However, if there is severe ulceration that affects the appearance, partial removal can be performed.

Breast lipoma

This is the most common malignant tumor in the epidermis and can occur in any structure with adipose tissue, but is most common in the epidermis and breast. It often occurs in obese female patients, with an onset age of 30 to 50 years old. It manifests as a single circular or divided soft lump with relatively clear boundaries, very slow growth and development, and rarely worsens. The treatment is mainly surgical removal, but the surgery should be complete. If there is any residue, it will inevitably cause recurrence. The removed tissue should be submitted to pathological examination to avoid misdiagnosis due to combination with other tumors.

Soft fibroma

Also known as skin tags or fibroepithelial papilloma, or fibrolipoma, it often occurs in the nipple. The surface of the tumor is basically consistent with the surrounding skin. There is a pedicle connected to the skin, and the color is soft. If the skin tag is large and affects the appearance, it needs to be removed from the pedicle including some normal tissue.
