Spotting at 11 weeks of pregnancy indicates a strong embryo

There is a little bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy, which is called false menstruation. In most cases, it is normal, and this symptom will disappear soon after the embryo is born. However, early pregnancy bleeding cannot rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy, threatened abortion, or cervical bleeding. Therefore, it is very important to distinguish the location of bleeding. Bleeding caused by cervicitis or trichomoniasis vaginitis is relatively easy to find, while bleeding in the uterine cavity is a little more inconvenient. But some people feel that seeing spotting at 11 weeks of pregnancy indicates that the test tube embryo is strong. Is this true?

Spotting at 11 weeks of pregnancy indicates that the test tube embryo is strong, right?

Vaginal bleeding at 11 weeks of pregnancy does not mean that the patient's test tube embryo is stronger or better. This kind of situation means that the patient may have abnormalities. For example, the patient's test tube embryo has stopped growing and developing. The patient will have vaginal bleeding, accompanied by abdominal pain and lower abdominal distension, which is a manifestation of miscarriage. The patient is around 11 weeks pregnant, which is the time when the embryo is formed. If the placenta is in a relatively low position, the patient will also experience some painless bleeding. In addition, patients with cervical lesions, vaginitis, or other systemic blood diseases can also cause bleeding. Therefore, when a patient experiences vaginal bleeding at 11 weeks of pregnancy, an immediate examination is necessary.

What to do if you have bleeding in early pregnancy

1. If you have just been diagnosed with pregnancy and the bleeding at the implantation site of the fetus has not yet been determined, the general obstetrician and gynecologist will first arrange an ultrasound to rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy. Because today's instruments are very advanced, an abdominal ultrasound examination can determine whether the gestational sac is implanted in the uterus six to seven weeks after the last menarche. If an ultrasound examination is performed intravaginally, the gestational sac can be seen a week earlier. Therefore, if the gestational age has exceeded seven weeks, but the fetal sac in the uterus is still not seen, and there is abnormal bleeding, it is necessary to suspect whether there is an ectopic pregnancy. Further examination and treatment must be done immediately to prevent the ectopic pregnancy from rupturing, causing a large number of blood vessels to rupture and seriously endangering life.

2. In addition, ectopic pregnancy may also cause vaginal bleeding after menopause, but it should be distinguished from threatened abortion. Because the treatment criteria for these two conditions are very different after diagnosis, once an ectopic pregnancy is diagnosed, surgical treatment should be performed first. Do not miss the time, otherwise it will cause abdominal bleeding or even shock.

3. After the doctor has ruled out the bleeding caused by miscarriage, premature ejaculation, or ectopic pregnancy, he believes that it is the physiological need for the embryo to implant, or it may be early pregnancy bleeding suppressed by the body. For most pregnant women, this type of bleeding will stop after 3 months of pregnancy, when the placenta begins to function properly.
