How to relieve menstrual cramps

How to relieve menstrual cramps

There are many reasons for women's menstrual pain, which can be divided into primary menstrual pain and secondary menstrual pain, and the causes of the two kinds of menstrual pain are different.

Primary dysmenorrhea refers to abdominal pain that occurs from the beginning of the menstrual period. The causes of primary dysmenorrhea are narrow cervical opening, incomplete uterine development or large area of uterine wall involved in menstruation. The latter condition is called membranous dysmenorrhea. Sometimes there are blood clots in menstruation, which can also cause lower abdominal pain. Secondary dysmenorrhea refers to menstrual/period abdominal pain that occurs after many years or even more than ten years of menstruation.

Keep warm: Keeping the body warm will improve blood circulation and relax muscles, especially the pelvic area that is paralyzed and swollen. Drink hot cooling tea or hot lemon water. You can also place a heating pad or hot water bottle on your abdomen for ten minutes or more.

Mineral bath: Add 1 cup of Fuqing and 1 cup of sodium bicarbonate to a tank of warm water. Soak for 20 minutes to help release stressed muscles and relieve menstrual pain.

Physical culture: Especially on the eve of menstruation, walking or doing other appropriate physical exercise will make your period more comfortable.

Practice yoga: Yoga fitness also has a relaxing effect. Here is an example. Kneel down and sit on your heels. Keep your forehead on the ground and stretch your arms to your sides.

Menstrual pain injury:

Symptoms that cause menstrual pain can be roughly divided into the following categories:

Menstrual back pain may be caused by the back of the uterus or other conditions.

Fever and lower abdominal pain during menstruation may indicate pelvic inflammatory disease.

Normal menstrual discharge is dark red. If the color of menstrual blood is light brown, or the smell changes, the temperature rises, and the lower abdomen hurts, you may have endometritis.

If menstrual pain becomes more severe and lasts longer, it may be endometriosis.

If the symptom manifests as menstrual pain and is not treated in time, the consequences may be serious.
