Frequent urination in women without pain or itching

As the saying goes, people have three urgent needs, and urination is our most normal physiological metabolism. It is a normal response of our body. But if women have frequent urination and urgency, there must be a reason. In addition to the normal excessive water intake, some reasons are also related to human diseases. So what are the reasons why women urinate frequently but without pain or itching?

1. Urethra malformation

You need to go to a gynecologist or urogenital specialist to check whether there are any external urethral deformities, such as hymen umbrella, urethral meat fistula, or even urethral cancer.

2. Subacute and chronic infections of the urinary system

Such as tuberculosis, germs or bacterial infections. A basic urogenital ultrasound or laboratory test including urine, secretion, acid-fast staining, etc. can clearly confirm the diagnosis. Many UTIs in women are caused by inflammation of the urinary system. In such cases, the genitourinary system is the affected organ and the primary condition, such as vaginitis, should be treated.

Patients with long-term frequent urination and urgency should also consider invasive examinations such as cystoscopy or urodynamic modeling, which can detect diseases that cannot be detected by general color Doppler ultrasound examinations, such as leukoplakia of the bladder, glandular cystitis, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, etc.

3. Bladder function issues

The most typical one is bladder overactivity, the essence of which is various initiators that make the bladder in an irritating state. When stimulated, it will cause uncontrollable urination and the need to urinate immediately.

4. Bladder tumor

The main feature of a small number of bladder tumors is frequent urination and urgency. Due to the development of bladder tumors in the interstitial bladder, the bladder wall muscles are stiff and the effective volume is reduced.

5. Pregnancy

When a woman is pregnant, the uterus enlarges, the bladder and urethra are contracted, and the body's endocrine changes slow down the relaxation of the urethra and intestinal peristalsis, causing slow accumulation of urine.

6. Neurogenic urinary frequency

Patients with neurogenic frequent urination still need to go to the hospital for further detailed examination, determine the cause of the disease, and carry out targeted and reasonable treatment.

7. Drinking too much water

Increased urination is a physiological phenomenon. Under physiological conditions such as moderate to severe drinking water, urination will increase due to increased water intake, and the frequency of urination will increase, resulting in frequent urination and urgency. In addition, under pathological standards, such as some diabetics and patients with diabetes insipidus, drinking more water will also lead to more urination.
