Soft birth canal laceration

Soft birth canal laceration

When the uterine contraction process develops too quickly, and the fetus is too large, the perineum is not protected well during pregnancy, and improper vaginal delivery will immediately cause lacerations in the perineum and cervix of the pregnant woman. If it is serious, it will reach the lower part of the uterus, causing soft birth canal laceration. If the perineum is cut too early, excessive blood loss will also occur. Soft birth canal laceration bleeding mainly occurs after the fetus and pregnant woman give birth. And things will continue to happen. So, what are the symptoms of soft birth canal laceration?

What are the symptoms of soft birth canal laceration? The probability of soft birth canal laceration occurring in women may be very high, so for these people, the most important thing is to know what are the manifestations of soft birth canal laceration.

1. Perineal laceration

This is more common during childbirth and is divided into three degrees according to the depth of the injury.

First-degree perineal laceration: refers to the rupture of the vaginal endothelial membrane hymen and the vaginal mucosa laceration, which has not reached the muscle layer and generally causes little bleeding.

Grade II perineal laceration: refers to lacerations that have reached the perineal muscles and may affect the posterior vaginal wall or even the posterior vaginal wall. Lacerations are usually irregular and bleeding is usually heavy.

Perineal third-degree laceration refers to partial or complete tearing of the external anal sphincter, and even tearing of part of the duodenal vagina and anterior rectal cavity.

2. Vaginal mucosal laceration

Large lacerations on the posterior wall of the vagina may extend to the transverse groove of the vagina and even reach the vaginal vault.

3. Cervical laceration

Cervical lacerations occur on both sides, and the front lip is swollen and may crack. Severe cervical tear reaches the bottom of the uterus and may damage the bladder, and even a circular tear in the uterine vagina can be seen.

If a third-degree laceration occurs, the anus will be more serious with the inside and outside of the anus expanding toward the face. The bleeding may not be heavy, so you must pay attention to it and seek treatment as soon as possible. Don't delay the condition.
