Nowadays, many female friends will suffer from gynecological diseases. So how is candidal vaginitis caused? How to judge whether you have candidal vaginitis? What are the symptoms of candidal vaginitis? What are the treatments for candidal vaginitis? Let the editor take you to understand it below. What causes candidal vaginitis? 1. Imbalance of nutrients Trauma, hormone or nutrient imbalance, immune deficiency, intestinal flora imbalance caused by antibiotics and cytotoxic drugs, or changes in the natural barrier function of the skin mucosa are also causes of candidal vaginitis. 2. Poor lifestyle The symptoms that cause candidal vaginitis also include long-term sitting and poor ventilation. The blood circulation system is blocked, making it easy to get infected; some women are accustomed to using sanitary napkins for a long time, which can also easily make the vulva poorly ventilated and cause infection. 3. Poor dressing habits If women usually like to wear jeans and tight underwear with poor breathability, they will sweat a lot in the summer, which will immediately cause the temperature in the vagina to rise and become damp. A slight friction will easily cause soaking of the vaginal mucosa or vaginal injury, thus causing candidal vaginitis. Symptoms of candidal vaginitis 1. Excessive leucorrhea: Patients with candidal vaginitis may have khaki, light green, or thin slurry-like discharge. Sometimes it is mixed with blood and is sticky, accompanied by itching and burning sensation of the vulva. Pain symptoms may occur during sexual intercourse. If the inflammation invades the urethra, symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, and urine incontinence may occur. 2. Because Trichomonas can consume glycogen in the epithelial cells in the vagina. This causes changes in the pH value in the vagina, which hinders the growth of lactobacilli in the female vagina. Therefore, it is easy to develop secondary bacterial infection and odor. 3. Patients with candidal vaginitis may experience edema and swelling of the vagina and cervical mucosa during gynecological examinations, as well as scattered red spots. Treatment of candidal vaginitis 1. Whole body treatment (1) Metronidazole (Flagyl) is taken three times a day for adults and reduced for children. The treatment course of gastrointestinal trichomoniasis is 3 to 5 days. Candidal urethritis, vaginitis, and stomatitis should be treated with the medicine for 7 to 10 days. It is forbidden to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. (2) Tinidazole For urinary and reproductive system and oral infections, double the dosage of the first dose, once a day, for 5 to 6 days. (3) Take trichostatin three times a day for 5 to 7 days. 2. Partial treatment (1) For candidal vaginitis, first clean the vaginal wall with soap and cotton wool, and rinse the vagina with 0.02% potassium permanganate aqueous solution or warm water, then wash and wipe with 1% lactic acid or 0.5% glacial acetic acid. Choose one of divijing, carbazon or metronidazole and insert it into the posterior fornix of the vagina or spray it into the female vagina once every night or overnight. 7 to 10 days is one treatment course, and 2 to 3 treatment courses can be used at the same time. |
