Will I get pregnant if I have sex right after my period?

Some women start having sex with men shortly after their menstrual period ends, and they do not use condoms or birth control pills to take contraceptive measures. However, after having sex, they begin to worry about getting pregnant. So, the question that many women are worried about is whether they can get pregnant if they have sex two days after their period ends.

Menstruation is the most intimate friend of a woman's life. A woman's ovulation changes regularly under the influence of hormones from the hypothalamus, pituitary gland and ovaries. The length of their cycles is the same, one cycle per month, and ovulation occurs between two menstrual periods. Women's menstrual cycles vary in length, but the time interval between ovulation and the start of the next menstrual period is relatively fixed, usually about 14 days.

The ovulation period refers to the period before and after a woman's ovulation period. The ovulation period is from 5 days before ovulation to 5 days after ovulation. But because each woman's menstrual cycle length is different, so the time of ovulation is also different. So, will ovulation occur right after menstruation? Normally, the quality and quantity of vaginal discharge changes with the menstrual cycle. When the menstrual period has just ended, the vaginal discharge is milky white, small in quantity, and paste-like; when the uterus and ovaries are about to ovulate, affected by the metabolism of the cervical gland ducts, there is more leucorrhea, which is completely transparent, slightly sticky, and egg white-like, and can stretch to about 10 cm; 2 to 3 days after ovulation, the vaginal discharge becomes more and more turbid, relatively sticky, and small in quantity. Also, before and after menstruation, due to pelvic congestion, the secretion of vaginal mucosa increases, so vaginal secretions often increase.

Under normal circumstances, when menstruation starts, the uterine wall falls off, many wounds appear in the uterus, and bleeding occurs. This blood is discharged from the vagina through the uterine cavity, which is what we often call "menstruation." From then on, a new uterine wall will quickly grow at the wound. After the wound heals, vaginal bleeding will stop immediately, and the menstrual period will naturally end. Generally speaking, each menstrual period for women lasts about 3 to 5 days. The first day has very little menstruation, the second to third days have the most menstrual flow, and then it gradually decreases until it stops.
