The harm of endometrium 12mm

The health of the uterus has an important impact on pregnancy and whether a healthy fetus can be created. In particular, the thickness of the uterine wall has a great impact on pregnancy. A woman's uterine wall is sometimes thicker and sometimes thinner. So, what are the harms if a woman's endometrium thickens by 12mm?

The normal endometrial thickness is 5 to 10 mm. With the change of menstrual period, the fluctuation of estrogen level will change to a certain extent within this range. The thinnest case is 5 mm, which should be when the menstrual period has just ended, and the thickest case is 10 mm, which should be the time when the menstrual period is about to come. The uterine wall was examined to be 12mm, indicating that there was a problem of excessive proliferation of the uterine wall. The common reason is endocrine disorder, which is very likely to cause problems such as long menstrual cycle and heavy bleeding.

The uterine wall is 12mm. If it is just over when the menstrual period is over, the uterine wall is too thick. It may be endometrial polyps or endometrial precancerous lesions. Curettage and ablation are required for pathological examination. If the uterine wall is 12mm during the ovulation period and the follicular phase, it is normal. The normal thickness of the uterine wall during ovulation is 8-15mm, and 12mm uterine wall is normal during ovulation. If there is a requirement for pregnancy at this time, the pregnancy success rate is relatively high. It depends on the thickening of the endometrium, and whether there is any harm must be determined based on the ovulation time and menstrual cycle time.

The thickness of the endometrium during the ovulation period of ordinary women is about 10mm or more. Therefore, when the thickness is at this level, if you have sex without contraception in a reasonable way, you may get pregnant. In other words, if the endometrium thickens by 12mm, pregnancy is theoretically possible. The thickness of women's endometrium after menstruation is mostly below 10MM, and as female hormones gradually increase, the uterine wall will gradually thicken.

When it thickens to about 12mm, it enters the ovulation period. Later on, the thickness will increase a little bit, and this stage means that the next menarche is approaching. However, women's pregnancy cannot completely depend on the standard size of endometrial thickening to have sex. To get pregnant, you should have proper intercourse based on your ovulation temperature and the ovulation period calculated according to your menstrual cycle to increase your chances of getting pregnant.
