When is the ovulation period when menstruation comes on the 1st

Many women are more concerned about their ovulation period, because by calculating their ovulation period, they can achieve the purpose of effective contraception or conception. As long as women have regular menstruation, it is not difficult to calculate the ovulation period. However, if your menstruation is irregular, the ovulation period may not be calculated accurately. So, when is the ovulation period if the menstruation comes on the 1st?

1. When is the ovulation period if the menstruation comes on the 1st?

The ovulation period is calculated from the first five days and the last four days of the 14 days before the next menstrual period. This period of time is the ovulation period. If the next menstrual period also occurs on the 1st, then the ovulation day is around the 17th, and the ovulation period is between the 12th and the 21st. Clinically, the ovulation period is not absolutely fixed and may change with the menstrual cycle. If the next menstrual period is not on the 1st, but is earlier or later, the ovulation period calculated in theory is of little significance and can change. If your menstruation is irregular, it is impossible to calculate the ovulation period relatively accurately. The calculation of the ovulation period is generally based on a relatively regular menstrual cycle, which is 30 days.

2. Calculation formula for ovulation period

The first day of ovulation = the number of days in the shortest menstrual cycle minus 18 days;

The last day of ovulation = the longest menstrual cycle minus 11 days.

For example, the shortest menstrual period is 28 days and the longest is 37 days. The shortest regular period is subtracted by 18 (28-18=10) and the longest regular period is subtracted by 11 (37-11=26). Therefore, the ovulation period is from the 10th day to the 26th day after the menstrual period.

It is very important for young women to correctly grasp the ovulation period: if you want to get pregnant, start from the first day of the ovulation period and maintain a frequency of having sex every two days. If you persist for a few months, you will generally get pregnant unless there are special circumstances. Women who do not want to get pregnant need to miss these days of sexual intercourse. At this time, the ovulation period will be called another term: the dangerous period (easy to get pregnant).

3. Ovulation symptoms

1. Decreased appetite: Studies have shown that women eat the least during their ovulation period. Experts point out that this is the result of human natural instincts that have been preserved to this day - female animals during ovulation will focus more on finding the opposite sex for mating rather than finding food.

2. Being energetic: This is also a natural instinct inherited from humans. In order to successfully attract the opposite sex, women during ovulation will become energetic and love to express themselves.

3. Increased sexual desire: Generally speaking, women’s sexual desire is particularly strong during their ovulation period, which is a reflection of the fact that women’s body signals that they want to get pregnant have reached their highest level.

4. Decreased resistance: During ovulation, women’s vaginal mucus becomes thinner, allowing sperm to pass more easily and increasing the chances of successful conception. At the same time, women’s nasal mucus also decreases, which increases the chances of bacteria invading the human circulatory system.
