Tips for farting after cesarean section

Tips for farting after cesarean section

Many women choose cesarean section when giving birth. Cesarean section also has many advantages. There are also many things to pay attention to after cesarean section. The first and most important thing is to exhaust gas before eating normally. However, some women have difficulty in exhausting gas after cesarean section. So are there any tips to help exhaust gas?

1. The fastest way to fart after a cesarean section

1. Rectal medication

A pure natural preparation containing glycerin, which is used to lubricate the intestines and induce intestinal peristalsis, making it easier for the gas near the anus to be discharged. 20 ml should be injected anally 6 hours after surgery.

2. Taking medication

15ml of oral solution contains 10g of lactulose. Lactulose is almost not absorbed after oral administration and can reach the colon unchanged, and then be metabolized by intestinal flora. At the same time, it increases the volume of the colon through osmosis, stimulates intestinal peristalsis, maintains smooth bowel movements, relieves constipation, and restores the physiological rhythm of the colon. Take 15 ml 6 hours after surgery.

3. Abdominal massage

The husband or other family members of the mother can gently massage her abdomen while she is resting in bed. The method is to massage from the upper abdomen downwards, once every 2 to 3 hours, each time for 10 to 20 minutes. This not only promotes intestinal peristalsis, but also helps the uterus and vagina to discharge residual blood. 4. Hot compress on the soles of feet

Hot compress massage on the soles of the feet is also an important method to accelerate the exhaust after cesarean section. After cesarean section, family members can use hot towels to apply hot compresses to the soles of the mother's feet. At the same time, combined with a certain massage, it has a very good effect on promoting exhaust after cesarean section. Each time, the hot compress lasts about 10 minutes, and do it twice a day.

2. What to eat after cesarean section

1. After a caesarean section, the expectant mother can eat easily digestible foods rich in protein and vitamins. At this time, an appropriate amount of crude fiber food should be added to prevent constipation. Usually, you can eat semi-liquid food such as steamed egg custard, porridge, noodles, etc. within 1 to 2 days after intestinal gas is discharged. After this you can eat normal meals.

2. Because the dietary fiber content in white radish is very considerable, especially the plant fiber contained in the leaves is rich. Plant fiber can promote gastrointestinal motility, eliminate constipation, and play a role in detoxification.
