Benign postmenopausal bleeding

Benign postmenopausal bleeding

Normally, women’s menstruation stops and there is no bleeding after menopause. Benign bleeding after menopause is very rare. If bleeding still occurs after menopause, it is very likely caused by certain gynecological diseases. Especially if bleeding occurs frequently, it should be taken seriously and you should go to the hospital in time to find out the situation. Here are some common causes of bleeding after menopause.

(1) Endometrial infection

After menopause, as the estrogen level in women's bodies drops rapidly, the female body's immunity will also decline, especially the resistance of the endometrium will be greatly reduced. If you are not careful in daily life, you may be infected by bacteria and cause endometrial inflammation. When the endometrium is infected by bacteria and microorganisms, it will induce superficial capillary bleeding, thus causing vaginal bleeding in postmenopausal women.

(2) Endometrial hyperplasia

When the follicle-stimulating hormone level in a woman's body is high, it will lead to enhanced blood flow to the endometrium and may stimulate endometrial hyperplasia. When the endometrium thickens during menopause, it can cause many physical discomforts such as irregular vaginal bleeding and lumbar pain. It is recommended to go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment in time.

(3) Cervical lesions

For women who experience bleeding two years after menopause, it may be caused by cervical lesions. They need to be alert to problems such as severe cervical erosion and cervical polyps. Cervical erosion and cervical polyps are actually one of the local characteristics of chronic cervicitis. For postmenopausal women, after such cervical lesions occur, women will have many problems such as increased secretions, lower abdominal distension and pain, irregular vaginal bleeding, etc.

(4) Cervical cancer

If you have bleeding symptoms two years after menopause, you need to be alert to problems such as cervical cancer. Among cases of irregular vaginal bleeding after menopause, the incidence of cervical cancer remains high. I hope that female friends can pay attention to it.
