What to do if you have hypoxia in early pregnancy

What to do if you have hypoxia in early pregnancy

The physical health of the expectant mother after pregnancy is directly related to the healthy development of the fetus, so pregnant women must strengthen nutrition and pay more attention to some uncomfortable symptoms during pregnancy. If a pregnant woman experiences palpitations, shortness of breath, chest tightness and shortness of breath, she needs to seek medical attention promptly. These symptoms are common symptoms of hypoxia in pregnant women. It is usually recommended that you sleep on your left side during pregnancy.

During pregnancy, pregnant women have to supply the growth and development of the fetus, so the burden on various systems such as the circulatory system, respiratory system, and urinary system will increase. The blood volume will gradually increase, the heart rate will increase, and the lung ventilation will increase. Many people feel "lack of oxygen" and often need to take a deep breath to feel comfortable. This is a normal phenomenon. If you are healthy and have no heart or lung disease, this phenomenon does not require special treatment. However, if the feeling of chest tightness or breathlessness is very severe, daily activities are restricted, and you cannot lie flat, then you should go to the hospital for electrocardiogram, heart function, ultrasound and other examinations.

1. First of all, you must have a clear understanding psychologically that there are great individual differences in the reaction to pregnancy. You must keep a good mood and don't be overly nervous. If all indicators are normal and the fetal growth and development are in line with normal rules, symptomatic treatment can be given, such as oxygen inhalation, regular fetal monitoring, and biophysical assessment. Do not be overly nervous or anxious.

2. Ensure the supply of dietary nutrition. If necessary, intravenous nutrient solution can be used to enhance physical fitness.

3. Oxygen care during pregnancy: Oxygen inhalation (low oxygen) 3 times a day, 3 to 5 minutes each time. Appropriate oxygen inhalation by pregnant women to a certain extent can prevent and treat various symptoms of hypoxia and promote the healthy development of the fetus.

4. Sleeping on the left side: It is best to sleep on the left side, which is beneficial to the oxygen supply to the fetus.

5. Pay attention to your environment, make sure the house is well ventilated, and eat a balanced diet.
