Suffering from gynecological diseases is a very uncomfortable situation for women in modern life, and most women have a history of gynecological diseases. The repeated attacks make women miserable. There are many types of gynecological diseases with great impacts, and none of them should be underestimated. Women need to undergo regular gynecological examinations to determine the severity of gynecological diseases. Let’s take a look at what a positive coagulase test means. When women do routine leucorrhea examination and find that coagulase is positive, it usually indicates the presence of vaginal inflammation. Coagulase is produced by gonococci, and a positive test indicates gonococcal infection. Therefore, when coagulase (+) is found, bactericidal and anti-inflammatory treatment must be given. You can use CleanYin or Fuyanjie to wash the vulva and vagina, place metronidazole effervescent tablets or tinidazole effervescent tablets in the vagina, or give oral cephalosporin antibiotics, all of which are very effective. The coagulase test is an important test for identifying the pathogenicity of staphylococci. Pathogenic staphylococci can produce two types of coagulase. One is a coagulase that is bound to the cell wall, called bound coagulase. It directly acts on fibrinogen in the plasma, causing it to precipitate and surround the bacteria to form clumps. The positive result of the slide method is due to this coagulase. The other coagulase is secreted outside the bacteria, called free coagulase, which can convert prothrombin into thrombin-like products and fibrinogen into fibrin, thereby coagulating the plasma. The test tube method can simultaneously measure bound and free coagulase. A positive coagulase test indicates possible inflammation of the vulva. Normal: Grade I, a large number of vaginal bacilli and epithelial cells, 0-5 white blood cells/HPF, no or very few miscellaneous bacteria. Normal: Grade II, moderate amount of vaginal bacilli and epithelial cells, 10-15 white blood cells/HPF, and small amount of miscellaneous bacteria. Indicating inflammation: Grade III, a small amount of vaginal bacilli and epithelial cells, 15-50 white blood cells/HPF, and a large number of miscellaneous bacteria. Severe vaginitis: Grade IV, no vaginal bacilli, a small amount of epithelial cells, white blood cells >30/HPF, and a large number of miscellaneous bacteria. |
