Why does yeast recur after menstruation?

Many women have problems with fungal infections, and there are many clinical causes of fungal infections. For some women, the symptoms of fungal infection will be relieved during menstruation, but the fungus will recur as soon as the menstruation ends. This situation is also quite common. Because mold itself is prone to recurring, this is also related to people's physical condition. So why does the fungus recur once the menstrual period ends?

1. During menstruation, the body's resistance and immunity are low, which can easily lead to recurrence of inflammation. Fungal infections themselves are prone to recurrence, and this disease is relatively slow to treat. Therefore, the treatment course for fungal infections is usually relatively long. Generally, it takes at least 2 to 3 consecutive menstrual periods and a negative result in the routine leucorrhea examination to be considered cured. It is recommended that you take topical medications actively under the guidance of a local doctor, and cooperate with oral medications to actively treat inflammation. Please note that you cannot have sexual intercourse during treatment. Men and women can be treated at the same time to prevent cross infection.

2. Once the menstruation is over, candidal vaginitis will recur, which is caused by poor resistance during menstruation or weak body resistance. Not paying attention to hygiene may also cause recurrence of inflammation. If it recurs more than three times within a year, it is best to receive regular treatment. Women with a history of sexual activity who do not plan to get pregnant in the next three months can use Cleanse to clean the vulva, use nitrofuratel nystatin vaginal soft capsules to plug the vagina for one week, and use vaginal lactobacillus to plug the vagina for five days. Use it for three consecutive cycles, starting three days after each menstrual period ends. Use the medicine for twelve consecutive days in each cycle, and use it for three consecutive months. It is best not to have sex within three months. Wash your underwear with boiling water, and then dry it in the sun or in a dryer. Try not to eat sweets, and eat less spicy and irritating foods. Pay attention to the hygiene of your private parts. It is best not to have sex within three months.

3. Candidal vaginitis is caused by infection with vulvovaginal Candida. Yeast itself is a normal flora in the vagina and will not cause inflammation under normal circumstances. Infection occurs when the body's resistance is reduced, antibiotics are taken, diabetes or pregnancy occurs, which leads to an imbalance of vaginal flora. Since candidal vaginitis is a fungal infection, it is easy to recur, especially before and after menstruation. Usually, the treatment of candidal vaginitis requires consolidation of treatment through several courses. After a course of treatment, a follow-up examination is required after 1 week, and it is generally recommended to use it again after the next menstrual period is over.
