Why are my nipples always erect?

Why are my nipples always erect?

Many women will find this problem, that is, their nipples are always erect. In fact, when this happens, we still need to be very vigilant, because the most common cause of this phenomenon is breast hyperplasia. Of course, some external stimuli, such as friction from clothing, sexual stimulation, or hormonal stimulation, can also cause this symptom. Next, I will introduce to you the common reasons why nipples are always erect!

1. Clothing friction Clothing friction

Nipples are sensitive areas. If you wear clothes that are too tight or the fabric is too rough, the friction may easily cause the nipples to become erect and painful.

Processing: Therefore, when purchasing underwear in daily life, you must pay attention to the texture.

2. Sexual stimulation

Breasts, like female sexual organs, are one of the most important erogenous zones. The nipples in particular, known as the clitoris of the upper body, are very sensitive areas and simply caressing the nipples can give women an orgasm. During the excitement phase of the sexual response cycle, the breasts will respond to sexual stimulation and the nipples will become erect. This is because the rich smooth muscle fibers in the nipples undergo involuntary contraction after sexual stimulation. When adequately stimulated, the actual volume of the breasts will increase significantly, which is the result of the congestion reaction of the deep veins of the breasts.

Self-test: When a woman in a sexual response state has an erection, the congestion in the lower part of the hanging breast is easier to observe. If the woman takes a supine position, the overall increase in breast volume will be more obvious. In the late stage of excitement, obvious areola congestion can be seen.

3. Hormone stimulation

During a woman's ovulation and menstruation periods, the estrogen level in her body will fluctuate. One possible factor for nipple hardening is related to hormone levels. Before a woman's period, the hormones in her body will change, which can cause the nipples to harden.

Treatment: Keep warm and avoid eating cold food.

4. Breast hyperplasia

Breast hyperplasia refers to the proliferation of breast epithelial and fibrous tissue, structural degeneration of breast ducts and lobules, and progressive growth of connective tissue. One of the more common symptoms is hardening of the nipple.

Self-test: Please lie flat on the bed, put your left hand behind your head, and touch your breast with your right hand (do not pinch it, just gently touch the breast with the part with fingerprints) to see if there is any lump. If there is a lump, consider the possibility of breast hyperplasia.
