Signs of an upcoming period

Signs of an upcoming period

Women will have their period every month, and the menstrual cycle is 28 days. Women can calculate the time of their period based on their menstrual period. Women will experience many complications when they have their periods, such as increased vaginal discharge and abdominal pain, as well as breast tenderness. Therefore, we need to do a good job of preventing menstruation and reduce the impact of menstruation on women's lives.

What are the signs of menstruation?

1. Increased leucorrhea

If you observe carefully, you will find that women's leucorrhea will increase significantly before menstruation. This is because the pelvic cavity is congested before menstruation, and the blood flow in the cervix and vagina increases, so the secretions of the cervix and vagina will also increase, and these secretions are the main components of leucorrhea.

2. Swelling

This situation often occurs within a week before menstruation. Some women usually have edema, but it becomes more serious before menstruation. Due to the appearance of edema, women will gain weight, and edema is also accompanied by headaches, runny nose, constipation, abdominal distension, etc.

3. Breast pain

Many women will experience breast pain before their period. At this time, women may feel small nodules when touching their breasts, which will cause pain when touched. However, these nodules and pain will disappear after their period comes, but they will reappear before the next period.

4. Other premenstrual discomfort symptoms

What are the signs that menstruation is coming?

In addition to the above-mentioned premenstrual symptoms, women may also experience a feeling of pelvic heaviness, back pain, headache, irritability, anger, and inability to concentrate.

1. First of all, you must pay attention to menstrual hygiene. You cannot take a bath in a tub. You must clean your vulva every day, with one basin for each person. Underwear should be dried in the sun and ironed with an electric iron before wearing. The toilet paper should be of good quality to avoid infection.

2. Do not drink ice water during menstruation, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and consume more high-protein substances. You can eat some chocolate or brown sugar water to adjust your mood. Don't eat anything too sour or spicy.

3. During menstruation, do not go to public swimming pools to swim, do not be blown by cold wind, do not catch a cold, do not wash your hair, and avoid sexual intercourse.

4. During menstruation, make sure to keep a happy mood and take a proper walk.

5. Combine work and rest During menstruation, you can work, study, and perform general physical labor as usual. This can ensure pelvic blood circulation, thereby reducing back pain and lower abdominal discomfort, and avoid intense and heavy mental and physical labor. Also make sure you get enough sleep to stay energized.
