Friends who want to have children need to pay attention to the precautions and preparations for pregnancy, such as eating a light and nutritionally balanced diet, quitting smoking and drinking, and getting enough sleep, etc.

What do you need to prepare for pregnancy?

1. Be careful about your diet, adjust your daily routine, and develop good living habits. In the three months before pregnancy, you should pay attention to dietary diversification, strengthen nutrition, and conserve your energy to create favorable material conditions for both husband and wife to prepare good sperm and eggs.

2. The couple are considerate and loving. Regularly strengthening emotional exchanges between husband and wife can deepen their love and give the wife a sense of happiness, security and belonging.

3. Pay attention to improving the quality of sex life. Before ovulation, the frequency of sexual intercourse should be reduced in a planned manner to ensure the quantity and quality of sperm, and both parties should try their best to be in a good mood during sexual intercourse before ovulation.

4. Avoid harm from adverse interference factors. The egg is most susceptible to the effects of drugs and other factors within 14 days from the primary egg cell to the mature egg. Therefore, the woman should not take general medicines, drink large amounts of alcohol, or be exposed to X-ray examinations and toxic chemicals and other adverse factors within 20 days before pregnancy.

5. Learn relevant knowledge. Couples should consciously learn relevant knowledge about sex, pregnancy and prenatal education, and understand how to get pregnant and what special physiological phenomena will occur during pregnancy.

6. Pay attention to pre-pregnancy check-ups. It is generally recommended to start prenatal check-ups 3-6 months before pregnancy, including both husband and wife. The female's pre-pregnancy test should be conducted within 3-7 days after the end of menstruation. Be careful to avoid having sex before the test.

Pregnancy care precautions

1. Ensure rest and sleep: Ensure enough sleep every day, otherwise your immune system will be affected and hormone secretion will be disrupted, which are not conducive to pregnancy. Let yourself have a relaxed mood. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. You can try practicing yoga, which can relax your mind and exercise your body at the same time.

2. Quit smoking and drinking: People have long been aware of the damage that alcohol can do to sperm, and many harmful substances in cigarettes can also kill sperm. You should stop drinking and smoking at least 3 months before conception.

3. Folic acid supplement: Folic acid plays a very important role in the healthy development of the baby. Folic acid deficiency may lead to incomplete development of the fetal brain or even malformation. Therefore, women should take in sufficient folic acid in the first three months of pregnancy. Foods rich in folic acid include amaranth, spinach, lettuce, asparagus, and Chinese cabbage. During early pregnancy, 0.4 mg of folic acid should be supplemented daily.

4. Calcium supplement: Calcium is the main component for the formation of bones and teeth. It is an indispensable substance in the development of the fetus and is used in large quantities.

During the preparation for pregnancy, a very important factor that determines the quality of sperm and eggs is mood. Only when both people are in a good mood can good quality sperm and eggs be produced. Therefore, during the preparation for pregnancy, you must maintain a good mentality and a positive attitude to welcome the arrival of a new life in the family.
