Endometrial polyps should be avoided

Endometrial polyps should be avoided

Women who are stimulated by chronic inflammation for a long time, have experienced childbirth and abortion, which have caused bacteria to enter the uterine cavity, and endocrine disorders will develop endometrial polyps, irregular uterine bleeding, irregular menstruation, pain during sexual intercourse and other symptoms. They can be treated through surgery. In their daily diet, they should pay attention to avoid eating irritating foods such as ginger and white wine, and they can eat more soy products.

Endometrial polyps are caused by local abnormal proliferation of the endometrium and are a common benign lesion in women. There is no age restriction for onset, and the most common clinical manifestations are irregular vaginal bleeding and a significant increase in menstrual volume. Pedunculated endometrial polyps may sometimes prolapse from the external cervical os. Most patients with endometrial polyps have no subjective symptoms. Some patients go to the hospital for treatment due to irregular vaginal bleeding or bleeding during intercourse. Generally, B-ultrasound examination is used for preliminary diagnosis, and hysteroscopy is used to confirm the diagnosis and remove the polyps. Endometrial polyps are often associated with chronic inflammation of the endometrium, leading to local abnormal proliferation of the endometrium.

Commonly used auxiliary examinations: Ultrasound is the most commonly used auxiliary examination for endometrial polyps. It is economical and simple. Endometrial polyps often show uneven endometrial echoes, local endometrial thickening and enhanced echoes, which may appear as strong light spots. However, ultrasound cannot confirm the diagnosis of endometrial polyps. If endometrial polyps are suspected, hysteroscopy can be performed to confirm the diagnosis. Hysteroscopy can directly observe endometrial lesions and obtain diseased tissue for pathological examination.

Dietary taboos for endometrial polyps:

1. You should drink more water and consume 2000 ml of liquid every day. You can consume more fruits, vegetables and grains in moderation, such as cabbage, asparagus, spinach, cucumber, mushrooms, winter melon and various plant seeds.

2. Fish and meat: you can eat more lean meat, chicken, eggs, grass carp, turtle, etc.

3. Endometrial polyps and increased menstrual volume can lead to anemia. You should eat more blood-enriching foods, mainly mild foods, and avoid cold and raw foods.

4. Meat can be crushed and eaten, and the combination of meat and vegetables should be appropriate, preferably 1:1. 5. Avoid eating hot foods and foods containing estrogen and progesterone ingredients, such as red dates, donkey-hide gelatin, royal jelly and other foods.

Surgical treatment and postoperative prevention of endometrial polyps: The treatment of endometrial polyps is based on hysteroscopic surgery. For multiple endometrial polyps with a diameter greater than 10 mm or obvious clinical manifestations, hysteroscopic endometrial polypectomy can be performed. Asymptomatic polyps smaller than 7 mm can be observed, and most small functional polyps disappear with the shedding of the endometrium. The recurrence rate of endometrial polyps after surgery is very high, and postoperative management is still required to prevent recurrence. The most commonly used method is to place the Mirena IUD into the uterine cavity or take a combined short-acting oral contraceptive pill.
