How to bring your period forward

How to bring your period forward

Normal menstruation occurs every month and has a certain periodicity. However, due to some special circumstances, female friends may need to advance their menstruation. For example, if a couple who are separated from each other have time to get together, it is best to advance their menstruation. However, the menstrual cycle cannot be controlled. Unless some methods are used, disrupting the cycle is a bad thing. So, how to bring your period forward?

Nowadays, advances in medicine have made it possible to advance menstruation through medication, but this is only effective for women with relatively stable menstrual cycles. If the menstrual cycle is unstable, it is meaningless to use this method to advance menstruation.

There are two methods to bring forward menstruation: mild and rapid. For the mild method, you take a low dose of progesterone one month before menstruation to prevent menstruation. You can stop taking the medicine 7 days after you expect your period, and then plan your period to come on that day. The rapid type refers to supplementing a large amount of progesterone at one time, which is also known as the menstruation-inducing injection, which makes the endometrium thicken and shed early. Menstruation will come 3 or 4 days after the injection. It should be injected 7 to 10 days before the expected menstrual date. If menstruation still does not come after taking the menstruation-inducing injection, it may be that the progesterone supplement is insufficient, or that you are pregnant, or there may be other diseases that require further diagnosis and treatment.

Method 1: Taking birth control pills

In order to advance or delay menstruation, you can use birth control pills to regulate menstruation, which of course also has the function of contraception. The contraceptive pill itself is a complex hormone, but it must be prepared one month in advance, that is, taken from the 5th day of the menstrual period and continued until 3 days before the menstrual period. Although this method has a high success rate, its disadvantage is that you have to take the medicine every day for more than 20 days in a row. If you forget to take it, all your efforts will be wasted.

Method 2: Taking progesterone or taking menstruation-inducing injections

The above mentioned methods are how to advance the menstrual period. In fact, there is another method to advance the menstrual period, which is to inject progesterone, which can also advance the menstrual period. However, female friends should be reminded that these methods are okay to use occasionally, but should not be used frequently, so as not to disrupt your menstrual cycle and affect future fertility.
