Safe and dangerous period of pregnancy

Safe and dangerous period of pregnancy

Generally speaking, pregnancy is a very difficult process, because during the pregnancy, pregnant women will always face various problems. There are safe periods and dangerous periods during pregnancy. The chances of miscarriage and premature birth during these two different periods will also be different, so the preparations made by pregnant women in these two periods will also be different. So what are the safe period and dangerous period of pregnancy?

Of course, the chances of getting pregnant during safe period are small. Because the safe period and the dangerous period are for contraception, the general safe period also refers to the time period during the menstrual cycle to avoid the ovulation period. During this period, the chance of pregnancy between men and women having sex is very low. Because having sex during the safe period is more effective in preventing pregnancy, this period is called the safe period.

The dangerous period is the ovulation period, which is exactly opposite to the safe period. At this time, the egg in the female body has been released and is waiting for the male's sperm to fertilize it. Moreover, the egg may be fertilized within two or three days after being released. The sperm can survive for three or four days after being released and can enter the egg. Therefore, if you have sexual intercourse during this period, the chance of pregnancy will be greatly increased. For men and women who want to get pregnant, having sex during the dangerous period can greatly increase the chance of pregnancy. Therefore, the chance of pregnancy during the safe period is lower than that during the dangerous period.

As mentioned before, the most important thing about the safe period contraception method is to understand the ovulation day. If you want to successfully prevent pregnancy during the safe period, we must first start with the method of detecting the ovulation period. Only by understanding the ovulation period can we effectively avoid it and achieve the contraceptive effect. If you don't want to use ovulation test strips to check, self-examination by measuring body temperature and paying attention to leucorrhea is also a good method. Measuring body temperature is the basal body temperature when you wake up in the morning before doing any activities. Starting from the first day of menstruation, put the thermometer in your mouth for 5 minutes, then draw a dot on the square with the measured temperature. Keep this record until one day before the next menstruation, and connect the dots into a curve. Ovulation usually occurs before the body temperature rises or during the process of rising from bottom to top. Usually the ovulation period is within 3 days when the basal body temperature is high. If you pay attention to leucorrhea, it means that it is a few days before ovulation in the middle of the menstrual period. Compared with before, the leucorrhea will become clear like egg white, smooth and elastic, and can be stretched into very long threads. The day with the longest threadiness is likely to be the ovulation day. This day and the 4-5 days before and after are the dangerous period.
