How many days does a woman's menstruation usually last?

Because every woman's physical fitness is different, the length of the menstrual cycle will also vary. Under normal circumstances, a woman's menstrual cycle should be controlled between 28 and 32 days, so basically women will have menstruation every month. At the same time, the duration of each woman's menstruation will be different, but in general, how long can a woman's menstruation last?

How many days does it usually take for a woman's menstruation to end? The average menstrual cycle of a woman is 3-5 days, and the amount of bleeding during menstruation is between 20-60ml. Menstruation is a normal physiological phenomenon of uterine bleeding during female developmental delay. In essence, it is the periodic shedding and bleeding of the endometrium that occurs with the changes in the ovarian cycle. The appearance of regular menstruation represents the beginning of the maturity of female reproductive function. Generally, women have their first menstruation at the age of 13 or 14, but it may be one or two years earlier. Of course, some may be delayed by one or two years, which is all normal.

Normal menstruation can be observed in the following aspects:

1. Duration of menstruation: It has been mentioned above that women's menstruation normally lasts for 3-5 days. Women can observe whether their menstruation lasts within this time period. If the menstruation lasts too long or too short, they need to go to the hospital for relevant examinations to see if the uterus is diseased or there is an endocrine disorder. However, don't worry too much if it happens occasionally.

2. How much is the menstrual volume: If a woman finds that her monthly menstrual bleeding is less than 50ml or greater than 100ml, she should go to the hospital to see a doctor to see if she has a menstrual disease. The earlier the treatment, the better.

3. Color of menstrual blood: The color of normal menstrual blood should be slightly darker than red. It is lighter in the beginning, then begins to change, and finally turns to light red until it is completely discharged. If menstrual blood is always bright red, purple red, or brown, it is abnormal.
