Is lower abdominal pain a gynecological disease?

Is lower abdominal pain a gynecological disease?

Women have a high probability of suffering from gynecological diseases. Most women suffer from gynecological diseases because they do not pay attention to private hygiene, too many bacteria enter during sexual life, and there are substances remaining in the uterus after giving birth. The first and most important symptom of patients with gynecological diseases is abnormal leucorrhea. Some people have tofu dregs-like leucorrhea, and some people have serious odor. So, is lower abdominal pain a gynecological disease?

Lower abdominal pain and general discomfort that women experience during menstruation are mostly physiological phenomena. If the pain is severe, it is dysmenorrhea. Most cases of dysmenorrhea during adolescence are primary dysmenorrhea, which can heal itself; however, dysmenorrhea that occurs after menstruation is mostly caused by certain diseases, so you should seek medical attention early and do not use painkillers to solve the problem. This is a very common cause of lower abdominal pain.

1. Paroxysmal colic pain in the right upper abdomen radiates to the right shoulder, mostly due to cholecystitis and cholelithiasis.

2 Severe abdominal pain in the left middle of the upper abdomen, accompanied by vomiting, persistent pain, paroxysmal aggravation, and radiating to the side of the waist, should be considered as acute pancreatitis.

3 The pain starts in the upper abdomen and moves to the right lower abdomen after a few hours, accompanied by nausea and vomiting, which is mostly acute appendicitis.

4 If you suddenly experience lower abdominal pain and bleeding after about 6 weeks of amenorrhea, you should consider ectopic pregnancy. When women of childbearing age experience abdominal pain, gynecological acute abdomen must be considered.

5. Paroxysmal colic in the flank or lower abdomen, radiating to the waist, back, and perineum, accompanied by frequent urination and hematuria, is a ureteral stone.

6. Abdominal pain accompanied by diarrhea should consider infectious diseases such as enteritis, dysentery, and cholera.

7. Persistent abdominal pain accompanied by vomiting may be due to intestinal obstruction.

1. Ovulation abdominal pain

When a woman has her period, she will first ovulate, which usually occurs about two weeks before her period. When a woman ovulates, the follicle ruptures, and the fluid from the ruptured follicle will stimulate the peritoneum, causing abdominal pain symptoms. However, the abdominal pain at this time is physiological and does not require treatment, but you need to observe more. If the abdominal pain during ovulation is uncomfortable, you still need to take painkillers.

2. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease

Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease can also cause lower abdominal pain. The symptoms caused by this disease generally worsen after fatigue, and can also cause uncomfortable abdominal pain after sexual intercourse. Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is caused by inflammatory stimulation, so the inflammation must be controlled first. The abdominal pain symptoms will gradually subside after the inflammation is completely eliminated. At this time, you can take antibiotics to reduce inflammation, and also combine some antibacterial drugs to control bacterial infection.

3. Dysmenorrhea

Women will have stomach pain during dysmenorrhea, which is mainly divided into primary and secondary. It usually occurs in unmarried girls because there are a large amount of prostaglandins in women's bodies at this time. If stimulated for a long time, the abdominal pain will continue. The symptom of dysmenorrhea can be relieved by having sex after marriage, but if the abdominal pain after marriage is more severe than before, it should be considered a gynecological disease.
