Bleeding after menstruation

Bleeding after menstruation

You must not have sex during a woman's menstrual period, because the woman's vagina is particularly fragile during this period. Having sex will greatly increase the possibility of a woman suffering from vaginal diseases. So even if you are really passionate, you should wait until the woman's menstruation is over before having sex. However, some women may find that they still have bleeding problems during intercourse after their menstrual period is over. What is going on?

What is the cause of bleeding after menstruation?

Menstruation refers to the shedding and bleeding of the endometrium that accompanies the cyclical changes of the ovaries. Endometrial shedding refers to the shedding of the functional layer of the endometrium from the basal layer, resulting in menstruation. Generally, when the menstruation is over, the epithelium, glands and blood vessels on the surface of the endometrium begin to proliferate and repair. However, when the menstruation has just ended, the epithelial glands on the surface of the endometrium have not yet been fully repaired. If you have sex too early, the mechanical stimulation may induce uterine contraction, causing the endometrium that has not been fully repaired to fall off and bleed again. Therefore, it is not recommended for women to have sex right after their menstruation ends, otherwise it will cause unnecessary tension and anxiety.

1. Caused by damage to the wound surface of the uterine cavity: When a woman's menstruation has just ended, there are still some broken blood vessels and glandular ducts in the wound surface of the uterine cavity. There is bleeding in the tiny blood vessels, and the new endometrium has just begun to grow, indicating that there is no epithelial coverage yet. Although the wound has stopped bleeding at this time, it has not yet completely regenerated and repaired. If a couple engages in sexual intercourse at this time, the stimulation of the mechanical system will damage the wound surface that has not yet been fully regenerated and repaired, thus causing bleeding.

2. Caused by vaginal injury: Bleeding during and after sexual intercourse, the amount of bleeding is large, and there is bleeding for a long time. You should consider the possibility of vaginal laceration. Vaginal lacerations often occur during involuntary sexual intercourse or very rough sexual intercourse, and can also be seen in some cases of vaginal deformities.

3. Caused by genital tract inflammation: genital tract inflammation such as cervicitis, vaginitis, endometritis, etc. are common causes of vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse.
