If examination finds that there is a problem with the cervix, you need to receive treatment in time. Cervical problems cannot be ignored. During the recovery period, you must pay attention to proper diet and maintain comprehensive and healthy nutrition. After cervical dilation surgery, female friends may feel uncomfortable for a long time. In this case, you must pay attention to bed rest.

3. Before dilation and curettage, you need to remove your clothes, put on surgical gowns, and empty your bladder (empty your urine). During the procedure, you will lie flat on your back with your legs spread open in stirrups, just like you would for a pelvic exam. The doctor will then insert an endoscope into the vagina and use forceps to dilate and hold the cervix in a specific position. Although this procedure does not require stitches or cutting, the doctor cleans the cervix with an antibacterial solution.
