Menstrual blood is bright red

Menstrual blood is bright red

In fact, when you have your period, you must carefully observe the color of your menstrual blood, because in many cases, if there are gynecological diseases, it can be directly reflected in the menstrual blood. For example, if a woman finds that her menstrual blood is brown or black, she should consider whether she has gynecological inflammation. So when a woman observes her menstrual blood and finds that it is bright red, what does this mean?

Is bright red menstrual blood normal?

It is normal for menstrual blood to be bright red. Normal menstrual blood is darker in color because in addition to blood it also contains endometrial fragments, cervical mucus and vaginal epithelial cells. It is lighter in color at first, then gradually deepens, and finally turns light red and clear.

Menstruation is a special physiological cycle, so you should pay attention to it in your daily life. During menstruation, you should avoid strenuous exercise, such as high jump and running. Because this will induce or aggravate physical discomfort, you should also drink more boiled water and avoid strong tea. Because strong tea contains high caffeine, it can stimulate the nerves and cardiovascular system, and can easily cause dysmenorrhea, prolonged menstruation or excessive bleeding.

More importantly, you should not have sexual intercourse during this period because the endometrium is exfoliated during menstruation, leaving fresh wounds in the uterine cavity. If you have sexual intercourse at this time, you may bring in bacteria and cause inflammation of the reproductive organs. It may also increase the amount of menstrual blood or prolong the menstrual period. Please keep this in mind.

Usually, symptoms such as poor appetite, back pain, and fatigue may occur during menstruation. At this time, it is advisable to choose foods that are beneficial to the skin and beauty, such as lamb, chicken, red dates, tofu skin, apples, coix seed, beef, milk, eggs, brown sugar, motherwort, angelica, rehmannia, peach blossoms, etc.

During menstruation, you should pay special attention to keeping away cold and dampness. Many cases of irregular menstruation are caused by catching cold and damp during menstruation. During menstruation, you should not take a bath or wash your hair, drink cold water, eat raw or cold vegetables and fruits, or drink cold drinks.
