3. Precautions before egg retrieval

1. Both husband and wife should take a bath and clean the vulva the night before the operation.

2. When you start to get the injection cycle, it is recommended to eat more protein-rich foods, which will help the follicles grow well. Eat a small amount of food the morning of egg retrieval.

3. Empty your bowels and bladder before egg retrieval.

4. Take oral antibiotics before egg retrieval.

5. After the egg retrieval surgery, you may experience mild abdominal pain, bloating, and minimal vaginal bleeding. If you experience fever, severe abdominal pain, or vaginal bleeding that exceeds menstruation, you should seek medical attention immediately.

6. Continue to take antibiotics for 2 days after the egg retrieval surgery.
