In fact, although the symptoms of chronic gonorrhea in women are relatively mild, if everyone can observe carefully, they can still find the symptoms. For female patients, Lin disease is often seen in key locations such as the cervix and urethral opening. Therefore, after being infected with gonococcal disease, women are very likely to develop gonococcal cervicitis, gonococcal urethritis, gonococcal bartholinitis and other diseases, and then develop a series of symptoms.

When gonococcal cervicitis occurs, the patient's secretions are mostly mucous at first, and then turn into pus in the later stage. During routine physical examinations, patients may find that the cervix is swollen and tender, with purulent discharge.

When gonococcal urethritis and paraurethral glanditis occur, the patient's urethral opening will experience abnormal swelling. There is pain when pressing lightly, along with purulent discharge. Patients are prone to abnormal urination symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, and painful urination. During routine physical examinations, their urethral opening is red, the mucosa is edematous, and there is purulent secretion at the urethral opening. Extruded paraurethral glands will be accompanied by extravasation of thick fluid.

Gonococcal Bartholinitis: When it occurs, the Bartholin's gland on one side of the patient will swell and become painful, and in more severe cases, cysts may form. Patients with this type of disease are very likely to have systemic symptoms and fever.

What needs our attention is that gonorrhea has a relatively short critical period and is highly contagious. During the process of being infected by bacteria, patients will experience many complications, and are prone to residual complications after treatment. Therefore, for gonorrhea, female friends should pay more attention to understanding related symptoms in daily life, and it is very important to treat the disease in the early stage.
