Cervical repair

Cervical repair

The uterus is a relatively important part of the female body. The health of the uterus not only affects the physical health of women, but also affects the ability of women to give birth. In life, many women are troubled by some cervical diseases. When suffering from cervical diseases, women need to go to a regular hospital for treatment in time. Some diseases even require women to undergo cervical repair to restore the health of the uterus.

Benefits of cervical repair surgery

1. After an incomplete miscarriage, a uterine curettage is required. Two operations on the uterus in a short period of time will cause great damage to the uterus. At this time, it is best to perform a uterine repair surgery, which can restore the function of the uterus and prevent symptoms such as uterine prolapse, cervical inflammation, and cervical erosion. Many women do not take good care of their uterus after uterine cleaning, which will affect the recovery of uterine function and the normal progress of the next pregnancy.

2. Uterine repair surgery will also be performed when cervical erosion and cervical inflammation are found. It can quickly eliminate the symptoms and make the erosion and inflammation disappear quickly. After the uterine repair surgery, all serious gynecological symptoms that women have experienced will disappear. In other words, uterine repair surgery is also a good way to treat diseases such as cervical erosion and cervicitis, and can be performed in conjunction with other treatments.

How to perform uterine repair surgery

For endometrial repair surgery, it is necessary to make an incision in the abdominal wall at each layer in the middle part below the navel of the patient, and take out the contents in the uterine cavity, such as the placenta, fetus or fetal membrane, etc. In short, there should be no residue in the uterine cavity. Then the uterus is extracted and the blood clots are wiped off. You need to observe your bleeding. Generally, pressure can be used to stop the bleeding. If a blood vessel is found to be broken, clamp, suture or ligate it immediately. If the edge of the rupture is uneven or there is scar tissue, it should be trimmed or excised to keep the wound surface neat.

During endometrial abdominal repair, No. 0 chromic gut is used to intermittently suture the deep myometrium of the uterus to prevent the uterine mucosa from being sutured into the myometrium. Then, 1-0 chromic gut is used to intermittently suture the superficial myometrium. Finally, No. 0 chromic gut is used to continuously suture the serosa. The pelvic cavity must be cleaned and the abdominal wall must be sutured layer by layer. The patient needs to be anesthetized during the entire operation, so the patient will not feel pain during the operation. After the operation, there will be pain after the anesthetic effect wears off, which most people can bear.
