Cupping vaginal bleeding

Cupping vaginal bleeding

Women usually perform cupping to help drive away cold and dampness in the body, but some women experience adverse reactions after cupping, such as vaginal bleeding and skin blisters. This is because when cupping, a large number of bubbles overflow from the skin, which will cause the permeability of the capillaries to increase, allowing blood to enter the tissue gaps and cause vaginal bleeding. Therefore, women should avoid taking a bath and catching a cold after cupping.

When the negative pressure of the cupping is applied to the human body, a large number of bubbles overflow from the skin surface, thereby enhancing the gas exchange of local tissues. Through examination, it was also observed that: negative pressure caused changes in local capillary permeability and capillary rupture, a small amount of blood entered the tissue gap, thereby causing congestion, red blood cells were destroyed, hemoglobin was released, and autohemolysis occurred. In the process of the body's self-adjustment, it produces the effects of promoting qi and blood circulation, relaxing muscles and tendons, reducing swelling and relieving pain, and removing wind and dampness, acting as a benign stimulus to promote the recovery of normal functions.

You must not do the following three things after cupping.

1. Don’t take a shower

Many people like to take a bath immediately after cupping, believing that this will make them feel more refreshed. However, experts tell us that it is best not to take a shower immediately after cupping, as this can easily cause secondary damage to our skin and is very harmful to the body. Normally, it is best to take a shower twenty-four hours after cupping. But this is not absolute. How long you can take a bath depends on the condition of your skin after cupping. Cupping usually causes varying degrees of skin damage to the human skin, such as redness, purpleness, blisters, etc.

2. Don’t get cold

After cupping, you should pay attention to keeping warm to prevent cold air from entering the body. Cupping should be performed in a windproof and temperature-appropriate room. After cupping, the body will be weaker and the pores all over the body will be open. At this time, you should pay attention to keeping warm and dress in time. Otherwise, not only will the body fail to recover quickly, but it may aggravate the disease and be harmful to the body.

3. Don’t blow dry

Some people developed a fever the next day after cupping and suspected that it was not caused by cupping. Cupping is not to blame! Generally speaking, the cause of fever is not cupping itself, but because cupping opens all the acupuncture points and pores, which makes it easy for cold air to enter the body while detoxifying. Therefore, you should not take a bath or blow dry your hair within a short period of time after cupping.

Cupping is a professional TCM therapy method that requires both familiarity with acupuncture points and mastery of techniques. It is best performed by a doctor with a TCM practitioner license. If cupping therapy is performed randomly without systematic learning and training, it may cause some harm to the body, such as burns, skin damage, pain, and even aggravation of the condition.
