It is suitable for deficiency of kidney yang resulting in scanty or unclear menstruation, light red or dark red color, thin menstruation, soreness and weakness of waist and knees, dizziness and tinnitus, or coldness in the lower abdomen, frequent urination at night, pale tongue, and slow pulse.

2. Cook Rehmannia wine. Ingredients: 6 grams of raw Rehmannia root, 10 grams of Motherwort, and 200 ml of rice wine. Usage: Pour rice wine into a porcelain bottle (or cup), add raw rehmannia and motherwort, steam for about 20 minutes, take 50 ml each time, twice a day. Conditioning effect: promote blood circulation and stop bleeding. It is suitable for menorrhagia caused by blood stasis, with purple and black color, blood clots or lower abdominal pain that refuses to be pressed, purple and dark tongue or petechiae, and thin and wiry pulse.

3. Hen mugwort soup. Ingredients: 1 old hen, 15 grams of mugwort. Usage: Wash the old hen, cut into pieces, cook it with mugwort leaves, and eat it in 2-3 times. Take 2-3 doses during menstruation. Regulating effects: replenishes Qi and blood, strengthens the spleen and calms the mind. It is suitable for excessive menstruation, palpitations, insomnia, cold pain in the lower abdomen, pale tongue and thin pulse due to physical weakness and inability to retain blood.
