What to do about stretch marks on the buttocks

What to do about stretch marks on the buttocks

Stretch marks mainly appear on the abdomen and buttocks, and the probability of pregnant women developing stretch marks is relatively high. Pregnant women need to understand how to prevent the occurrence of stretch marks and relieve the symptoms of stretch marks. If there are stretch marks on the buttocks, we can supplement collagen and do squats to repair them. In addition, due to hormonal disorders during pregnancy, the elasticity of the skin will also decrease, so exercise should be used to relieve stretch marks.

What to do if you have stretch marks on your buttocks

Stretch marks mostly appear on the lower abdomen, belly, buttocks or breasts. According to statistics, about 70% to 90% of pregnant women will develop stretch marks during their first pregnancy. In addition, stretch marks are closely related to genetics. If your mother has deep stretch marks, you must pay attention to prevention.

Countermeasures:

1. Replenish collagen, enhance skin elasticity, and accelerate the recovery of broken elastic fibers.

2. Pay attention to moisturizing and nourishing dry skin. You can choose skin care products containing collagen or with strong moisturizing function.

Due to hormonal disorders during pregnancy, the collagen fibers in the pregnant woman's skin become fragile, while the baby in the belly continues to develop, the skin tissue is overstretched, and the elastic fibers gradually break, resulting in irregular pink or purple longitudinal cracks appearing on the abdominal skin. After childbirth, although the broken elastic fibers are gradually restored, it is still difficult to return to their previous state. The original cracks on the skin gradually fade and finally turn silver-white. These are stretch marks.

How to Prevent Stretch Marks

Stretch marks are related to physique, genetics, etc., but as long as you pay attention to maintenance, you can help prevent stretch marks to a certain extent. Maintenance should start from both before and after pregnancy.

Before pregnancy

With the main goal of improving skin elasticity, exercise regularly, take cold water baths appropriately, and pay attention to the intake of collagen in your diet.

After pregnancy

1. Do moderate exercise. Keep walking to improve your physical fitness.

2. Eat a balanced diet. Take more collagen to increase skin elasticity. Reduce the intake of sugar and fat to avoid excessive fat accumulation in the body. Eat more foods rich in vitamin E, vitamin A and vitamin B2 to make your skin smooth and tender. Stick to one to two glasses of skim milk every day along with fiber-rich foods. Drink more water to help promote skin metabolism.

3. Control weight gain. It is normal to gain weight during pregnancy, but the gain should be kept within 2 kg per month and the weight should be maintained at 11-14 kg throughout the pregnancy.

4. Use a belly support belt. The belly support belt can effectively help relieve the pressure on the abdomen and buffer the stretching of the abdominal wall skin.

5. Stretch mark cream. Choose a suitable stretch mark cream, apply it regularly and massage it to maintain your skin. But be careful not to use stretch mark cream or massage during the first three months of pregnancy to prevent any impact on the fetus.

We all know some solutions to stretch marks on the buttocks, but in order to prevent them from growing more and more, we can make some preventive preparations. If we don’t do a good job of prevention, stretch marks will definitely become more serious next time, so we must pay attention to it and insist on removing stretch marks.
