What to do if your skin becomes loose after giving birth

Many pregnant women will experience loose skin after giving birth, especially in the belly. This is because the development of the fetus will stretch the belly, and the belly does not shrink back in time after giving birth, or the skin's elasticity decreases, causing the skin to loosen. For the case of loose skin after giving birth, we can drink more water, massage the buttocks appropriately, and eat more collagen protein foods to promote skin stretching.

1. Drink water appropriately

Proper water drinking habits will speed up the skin elasticity plan for new mothers.

The water content in human tissue fluid is 72%, and the water content in an adult's body is 58%~67%. When the body loses water, the skin becomes dry and the secretion of sebaceous glands decreases, causing the skin to lose elasticity and even develop wrinkles. But do not massage your abdomen and waist at this time. On weekdays, new mothers can consciously take deep breaths, tighten their abdomen, and do some simple postpartum recovery exercises.

4. Pay attention to the intake of alkaline foods

The fish, meat, poultry, eggs, grains, etc. that we eat in daily life are all physiologically acidic. Large amounts of acidic food will increase the levels of lactic acid and uric acid in body fluids and blood. When organic acids cannot be excreted from the body in time, they will erode sensitive epidermal cells. The skin loses its fineness and elasticity.

In order to neutralize the acidic components in the body, you should eat some physiological alkaline foods, such as apples, pears, citrus fruits and vegetables.

5. Increase your collagen intake

The biggest problem for postpartum women is the abdomen. The abdominal skin is mainly composed of collagen and elastin. The former is responsible for hardness and the latter is responsible for toughness. Collagen and elastin are composed of countless amino acids, which are like a net.
