Lump on the outside of the breast

Lump on the outside of the breast

The appearance of lumps on the outside of the breast should attract women's attention. The appearance of lumps often means the occurrence of disease. Many breast lumps will slowly turn into fatal tumors after being ignored. Therefore, any small problems in the body should not be taken lightly. Lumps are divided into benign and malignant. Either type will pose a threat to the body, so you must go to the hospital for examination and treatment. So what is the matter with the lumps on the outside of the breast?

A small lump next to the breast is generally a normal phenomenon, except when it is caused by breast diseases such as breast nodules and breast hyperplasia. Breast lumps can be divided into benign and malignant ones, so when a lump appears in the chest, it is best to go to the hospital for examination in time to find out the cause so that symptomatic treatment can be given. Common benign lumps include:

Dense breasts

Dense breast type, fatty type, and intermediate mixed type are common breast appearance types. Dense breasts are a common type of breasts in young women. As they age, the breast tissue structure will be replaced by more fat, especially after menopause. In this case, the breasts will become fat-type and feel like lumps when pinched.

Lobular hyperplasia of the breast

This situation is more common before menstruation, and the lump is usually difficult to feel the edge. The lumps caused by leaf hyperplasia are mostly granular nodules, and it is often difficult to find detailed lumps during B-ultrasound examination. Such situations do not require special treatment. The main thing is that the patient maintains a good attitude and pays more attention to diet. In severe cases, massage can be used for treatment.

Breast fibroadenoma

If young women pinch a lump or breast fibroadenoma on their breasts, they don’t need to worry too much. Generally speaking, breast fibroadenoma is a benign tumor, which is more common in young women between the ages of 18 and 25. It can be pushed, grows slowly, and has no fatal effect on the body.
