Cause

After you stop exercising, alternately raise your arms above your head. This helps your chest cavity expand and contract more when you breathe, while also stretching your muscles.

Watch your breathing

Proper breathing techniques can help you prevent lateral rib pain. When exercising, try to breathe longer and deeper. Short, rapid breaths can cause your muscles to overexert themselves. It is best to adjust your breathing so that your inhalation and exhalation are rhythmic with the movement of your limbs.

Drink plenty of water

To ensure adequate fluid intake, especially when exercising on a hot day, the first rule is to drink 250-300cc of water before exercise, followed by another 125-250cc of water every 30-45 minutes.

It is recommended that you take some GABA tablets, vitamin B1 tablets, etc., timely self-conditioning, maintaining a good mood, going out for more walks, and basking in the sun can improve the symptoms. First of all, you need to pay attention to dietary conditioning, light and easily digestible food, do not eat sour, spicy and irritating food, quit smoking and drinking, drink plenty of water and keep a good mood, etc. If there is no improvement for a long time, you should go to the hospital for examination.
