Sudden nausea and vomiting during late pregnancy

Sudden nausea and vomiting during late pregnancy

Pregnant mothers should be familiar with morning sickness. Especially in the early stages of pregnancy, morning sickness is very likely to occur due to hormonal changes in the body. But what happens if you suddenly experience nausea and vomiting in the late pregnancy? Actually, this is possible. Because some pregnant mothers do not have too many symptoms in the early stages of pregnancy, but in the late stages of pregnancy, the hormones in the body fluctuate greatly, and nausea and vomiting will occur.

1. Get enough rest. Excessive stress can exacerbate morning sickness symptoms. You can use a pregnancy pillow to protect your back and stomach and ensure you get a good night's sleep.

2. Eat small amounts in the morning. Keeping something in your stomach can prevent nausea and vomiting.

3. Don’t stay in front of the computer or TV for too long. Unnoticeable rapid flickering on the screen can aggravate morning sickness symptoms.

4. Exercise, especially in early pregnancy.

5. Add some apple juice and honey when drinking water to help protect the stomach.

6. Eat some applesauce. It calms the stomach and relieves morning sickness symptoms.

7. Eat some pears, oranges or lemons.

8. Eat a baked potato or a banana for breakfast. Bananas contain potassium, which can also reduce morning sickness.

9. Dress as comfortably as possible. Clothing that is too tight around the waist can make morning sickness worse.

10. Take children's vitamins instead of prenatal vitamins, which are easier to digest and don't take up space in your stomach.

11. Don’t force yourself. Try to avoid foods or smells that might make you feel sick. If you feel like you're nauseated no matter what you eat, don't worry. Eat things that whet your appetite, even if they don't give you a balanced diet. No matter what it is, eating a little is better than eating a large meal and then throwing it all up.

12. A little snack at night. Place some simple snacks such as cookies by your bed. When you wake up, you can eat a few cookies first, then rest for 20 to 30 minutes before getting up. If you wake up in the middle of the night feeling nauseous, you can also eat some cookies to relieve the pain.
