How to treat back pain in women

How to treat back pain in women

There are many reasons for low back pain. For example, people who sit for a long time with incorrect posture will have low back pain. In this case, they need to stand up and move their waist to promote blood circulation to relieve low back pain. Some women have low back pain due to menstruation. Menstruation will make people feel low back pain and feel uncomfortable. Low back pain caused by physiological reasons can only be relieved by improving dysmenorrhea or waiting for the menstrual period to pass. So how to treat low back pain in women?

There are several reasons why women have back pain:

1. Pelvic inflammatory disease. Pelvic inflammatory disease is often accompanied by lower abdominal pain or a feeling of heaviness, and a color Doppler ultrasound examination is necessary at this time. If it is confirmed to be pelvic inflammatory disease, microwave therapy or far infrared therapy should be performed. At the same time, anti-inflammatory drugs can be given intravenously to treat pelvic inflammatory disease.

2. Lumbar muscle strain. If a woman has a heavy workload and uses her waist for long periods of time, she will suffer from chronic strain of the waist muscles and experience chronic, long-term pain, which is often more severe when she wakes up early. You can take anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs, such as meloxicam and loxoprofen sodium tablets, and you can also undergo microwave treatment at the same time.

3. Lumbar disc herniation. Lumbar disc herniation is also very common in women. It can compress the nerves around the lumbar disc and cause lower back pain. It may also be accompanied by numbness and pain in the lower limbs and pain in both hips. CT and MRI examinations are required to confirm whether it is a lumbar disc herniation. Oral medications can be used for treatment. In severe cases, surgical treatment can be considered. The last reason is rheumatic diseases. For example, ankylosing spondylitis and rheumatoid arthritis can cause low back pain, and women are more likely to develop the disease.

There are several common causes of lower back pain in women:

The first is lumbar disc herniation, which is more common in female patients who bend over for a long time to carry weight or sit for a long time.

The second common type of disease is soft tissue disease, such as supraspinal ligamentitis, paraspinal ligamentitis and lumbar muscle strain. Some patients also suffer from the relatively rare lumbar spondylolisthesis, which can only be confirmed by MRI of the lumbar spine.

The cause of lower back pain that is unique to women may be related to menstruation. The lower back pain will intensify during menstruation and will completely recover after menstruation. This is a non-organic change and will not affect the function of the lower back. However, other conditions require systematic treatment to eliminate.
