Things to note after transplantation

In vitro fertilization is a milestone medical procedure in modern clinical medicine because it greatly increases women's chances of becoming pregnant. However, the IVF operation is also very complicated because the egg and sperm must first be combined into a fertilized egg and then transplanted into the female body. And the woman's physical condition should be carefully observed for a period of time after the transplant, because the failure rate is extremely high. So what should we pay attention to in order to ensure the success rate of transplantation?

1. After the transplant surgery, try not to go to the bathroom, especially in the first two hours; lie in bed and do not move around at will, especially do not try to turn over or get up with force (to get up, you can lie sideways and support yourself with your hands, then get up slowly). If you need to eat, ask your family to do it for you. Reason: After the transplant, going to the bathroom or other large movements may cause the embryo to move in the uterus or even slip out of the uterus, resulting in a low success rate.

2. After the transplantation operation, if the female's uterus is not in a good environment for conception, and the family has the conditions or wants to increase the success rate, they can choose to stay in the hospital for 1-3 days, or even until the pregnancy test is positive (usually about 10 days); reason: avoid activities after transplantation to trigger the movement of the embryo. I rested in the hospital for four hours after the operation, and then my husband drove me home (I was lying in the car, and the vehicle was driving smoothly).

3. For 3-5 days after the transplant surgery, stay in bed as much as possible if conditions permit. Except for going to the bathroom, lie flat or on your side in bed as much as possible. It is recommended to take a bath after one week, but be sure not to use too hot water, as hot water can cause great damage to the embryo.

4. Injections are required after the transplant. Try to have someone come to your home to give the injections during the first three days to reduce the impact of movements and activities.

5. After the transplant, you should not do strenuous exercise, and try to avoid running and jumping.

6. If you are too nervous and anxious, it will affect your success rate. The support of family members is also very important, especially the woman’s husband should constantly encourage and comfort her so that she can relax as much as possible and not worry about gains and losses.

In order to increase the success rate of in vitro fertilization, we hope that women will pay more attention to details in their daily lives, try their best to follow the doctor's instructions, and not act on their own.

What should you pay attention to after completing an IVF transplant? After so much introduction, do you understand it all? If you still don’t understand or have other doubts about IVF, you can directly consult a doctor. In addition, experts suggest that you still need to pay more attention to the maintenance of your ovaries in your daily life, have a balanced diet, and have a regular work and rest schedule.
