1. Oral examination

Examination contents: Tooth, periodontium, dentition, oral mucosa

Purpose of examination: The oral health of pregnant women directly affects the oral health of infants and young children. If oral problems occur during pregnancy, treatment methods and the effects of medication on the fetus will be limited, and the pregnant mother will suffer.

2. TORCH detection

Examination contents: Toxoplasma, Rubella virus, Cytomegalovirus, Herpes simplex

Purpose of examination: When pregnant women are infected with the above diseases, the pathogens can be transmitted vertically through the placenta, causing embryonic development to stop, miscarriage, stillbirth, premature birth, congenital malformations, etc., and even affecting the intellectual development of infants and young children after birth, causing lifelong sequelae. Among them, the infection rate of rubella virus is very high, reaching 60%~70%. For example, the "cleft lip incident" of a well-known artist's daughter was caused by rubella virus infection. In addition, women who keep cats, dogs and other pets at home should pay special attention to toxoplasmosis infection.

3. Reproductive hormones

Examination contents: Follicle stimulating hormone FSH, estradiol E2, progesterone P

Purpose of examination: Health examination of ovarian function and hormone levels in women.

4. Gynecological examination

Examination contents: gynecological routine examination of vulva, vagina, cervix, leucorrhea routine examination, cervical scraping

Purpose of examination: To check whether the vulva has various inflammations, Bartholin gland cysts and other diseases; whether the vagina has various inflammations; whether the cervix has erosion, etc. These problems are best treated before pregnancy. If they occur during pregnancy, treatment will be limited to a certain extent.

Color Doppler ultrasonography

Examination contents: Uterus and appendages

Purpose of examination: To check whether there are gynecological diseases such as uterine fibroids, ovarian tumors, endometriosis, etc., which are important factors causing ectopic pregnancy.
