At what age do women usually enter menopause?

Normally when I am at home, my mother always nags me. At this time, I will jokingly ask her if she has reached menopause. In our impression, people who have reached menopause are generally middle-aged women, but at the same time, some people think that the age of women reaching menopause is getting younger and younger. Many people have different opinions on this. So, what is the answer? Now, let's follow the editor to see how old women usually reach menopause.

1. Women's menopause refers to the period from a few months before menstruation completely stops to several years after menopause. Generally, it starts at the age of 45 to around 55 for women. A survey of 929 retired workers in my country showed that their average menopausal age was 48.85 years old. Menopause refers to a transitional period from sexual maturity to old age in a woman's life. It is an inevitable stage in life for women to transition from the reproductive period to the old age. Due to physiological changes, the body of menopausal women cannot adapt for a while, and a series of comprehensive symptoms appear, which is called menopausal syndrome.

2. Generally speaking, this situation will occur after the age of 50, and some people have this situation in their 40s. Menopause, medically, the period from 5 to 6 years before menopause and 1 year after menopause is called female menopause. From a clinical perspective, women enter menopause at the age of 40 to 55. With changes in the social environment and increasing pressure on women, the age at which women enter menopause is also becoming younger. Irritability, hot flashes and insomnia are obvious symptoms of menopause for most women. Among the most common reactions of menopause in women, in addition to hot flashes and decreased menstruation, more than 50% of people will experience emotional abnormalities, and more than 40% of people will have obvious symptoms of insomnia. Sleep is very important for people at any stage, especially for menopausal women. Without a good sleep, the physiological vicious cycle of menopausal women will be aggravated, making their various physical and psychological manifestations more obvious. Menopause is the transition stage when women gradually enter the old age from the reproductive period. It is an important stage in the aging process of the human body, and the physiological and psychological changes are particularly obvious. More than 90% of women will experience symptoms to varying degrees during this period, affecting their personal health and quality of life. There are symptoms of being upset, easily anxious and angry, abnormal mood, and anorexia.

From the above, we can see that menopause generally refers to middle-aged women around 40 or 50 years old. They often feel anxious and have abnormal emotions during menopause. Menopause is just like our adolescence back then, rebellious, disobedient, and eager to be understood. So, if our mothers or other people around us are in menopause now, we must take good care of them and love them well.
